Before you register a character at Mugen Kuppuku Island, please read the Mugen Kuppuku Island Storyline and the Out-of-Character Rules.
Once you’ve reviewed them, you’ll be ready to begin your journey. Our roleplay offers many opportunities and paths for your character to explore. Some roles are earned through skilled roleplay, while others can be requested directly in your application.
You may register as a Student or Faculty Member of the Academy — or, if your character lives outside the school, as a Villager through our Join the Village section. Visitors from affiliated sims are also welcome to apply.
Remember, these roles aren’t static — characters grow and evolve through the events that shape them.

🪶 I. Registering a Mugen Kuppuku Academy Student
The following are instructions for registering as a student at Mugen Kuppuku Academy. This process ensures your character is properly introduced into the story and recognized within the Academy system before beginning roleplay.
Steps

Read the Mugen Kuppuku Academy Guidebook.
Familiarize yourself with the rules, systems, and expectations of Academy life.

Fill out the Mugen Kuppuku Academy Student Application.

Drop your application into the Suggestion Box located at the Information & OOC Spot on the island.

Wait for Bingk to approve your application.
Do not begin roleplay until approval is given.

You may be asked to perform a height check to ensure your avatar is at least 5'8", as measured by the ruler in the Information & OOC Spot.
(The sim is scaled for this height, so being slightly taller is fine.)

Add your character’s abilities to the Picks section of your profile and label the tab “Mugen Kuppuku Profile.”

Receive your group tag invite for the Mugen Kuppuku Academy Group.

Ensure your group title displays your dorm correctly. (You can switch your tag title in the Groups menu.)

Register on the Mugen Kuppuku Forums and post your accepted application in the Academy Students section of the Character Profiles forum.

Once these steps are complete, you may begin roleplay as an official Mugen Kuppuku Academy Student.
✒️ II. Registering a Mugen Kuppuku Academy Faculty Member
The following are instructions for registering as a faculty member at Mugen Kuppuku Academy. Faculty roles are vital to the life of the Academy, shaping both its students and the stories that unfold within it. Please ensure your character is registered and approved before beginning roleplay.
Steps

Read the Mugen Kuppuku Academy Guidebook and the Mugen Kuppuku Academy Faculty Guidebook.
Familiarize yourself with the Academy’s structure, expectations, and class system. -
Fill out the Mugen Kuppuku Academy Faculty Application.

Drop your application into the Suggestion Box located at the Information & OOC Spot on the island.

Wait for Bingk to approve your application.
Do not begin roleplay until approval is received. -
You may be asked to perform a height check to ensure your avatar is at least 5'8", as measured by the ruler in the Information & OOC Spot.

Add your character’s abilities to your Picks section and label the tab “Mugen Kuppuku Profile.”

Activate your Faculty group tag and make sure your title displays correctly.
(You can adjust your title via the Groups menu.) -
If you will be teaching a class, you must schedule it with Sora Rasmuson before roleplaying it.
Classes cannot be held without approval and scheduling. -
Register on the Mugen Kuppuku Forums and post your accepted profile in the Faculty & Staff section of the Character Profiles forum.

Once these steps are complete, you may begin roleplaying as a faculty member.
If you are running a class, you may roleplay it at the time you’ve scheduled.
🌸 III. Registering a Character from an Affiliated Sim
The following are instructions for registering a visitor or character from an affiliated sim.
Affiliated characters are welcome to explore Mugen Kuppuku Island and engage in cross-sim storylines. Registration requirements vary depending on whether your character will use abilities, powers, or influence connected to their home sim.
Steps

Read the Mugen Kuppuku Island Storyline to understand the setting and ensure your character fits into the existing world.

Confirm that your home sim is affiliated by checking the Mugen Kuppuku Affiliates Guidebook.

If your character plans to use powers, abilities, or political influence from their home sim, fill out the Mugen Kuppuku Island Affiliated Visitor Application.

Drop your application into the Suggestion Box at the Information & OOC Spot.

Wait for Bingk to approve your application.
Do not roleplay any powers or abilities until approval is granted. -
Review our Exchange Program if your sim has an academic setting.
Faculty and student exchange events allow limited-time crossovers between sims.

Ensure your character meets avatar and appearance requirements:

No age play – all characters must be 18+ and appear adult.

Minimum avatar height: 5 feet.
-
“Micro” avatars (1 foot or shorter) must be non-sexual.

Shapeshifters must follow the Shape-Shifter Guidebook.

Once these requirements are met and approval is received, you may freely explore and roleplay on Mugen Kuppuku Island as a guest.
