Your complete guide to living, working, and roleplaying within the Mugen Kuppuku Village.

🏮 I. Roleplay Areas

The village is a dynamic place where new businesses and residential areas are always appearing. For an up-to-date listing of what is currently available, please refer to the Mugen Kuppuku Island SLurl Master List under the section labeled “Mugen Kuppuku Village.”

The village also features a holodeck, which provides additional roleplay areas both within the village and on the mainland. A link to the holodeck can also be found in the SLurl Master List.

Below is a list of currently available scenes:

Additional holodeck scenes related to the Academy can be found in the Holodeck → Mugen Kuppuku Academy section of the SLurl Master List.

🏮 II. Village Neighborhood Rentals

For the location of the Village Neighborhood and rentals, refer to the Mugen Kuppuku Island SLurl Master List.

The Village Neighborhood is an in-character residential district where townspeople, professors, and even students may reside. Anyone may visit the neighborhood, but owning a house requires paying rent in Lindens. Rental tiers determine available prims.

Village Rentals

  • L$60/week — 20 prim allowance

  • L$90/week — 30 prim allowance

All rental boxes default to the L$60 tier. To upgrade, contact Sora Rasmuson.

Renters must join the Mugen Kuppuku Village group before rezzing items.

Owning a home provides opportunities for private RP and organic neighborhood development. Rental proceeds support the sim.

🏮 III. NPC Interaction

Bars, restaurants, and shops throughout the Village contain NPC staff—either visible bots or implied characters. These NPCs must be treated as if they are present and performing their jobs.

NPC rules:

  • Do not bypass NPC staff (e.g., hopping behind the bar).

  • NPCs cannot commit crimes or be used for harmful acts.

  • If you wish to include darker content, your character must perform the action themselves through appropriate RP.

  • NPCs in the Bad Side of Town may behave differently depending on the scene.

NPCs may be used for standard services, such as ordering drinks, asking for food, or receiving help.

🏮 IV. Job Opportunities

Villagers may request a job on their application; students may also work in the Village. Manager positions are GM-controlled and include prim rez rights. Non-manager positions do not include rez rights.

To apply for a job:

  • Speak ICly to the manager of the business.

  • If there is no manager, a GM will approve or NPC the role.

  • Students may apply but are rarely given managerial positions unless plot-appropriate.

🏮 V. Yakuza

The Yakuza are an organized crime syndicate with deep roots in Japan's history. All Yakuza activity in the Village is GM-regulated.

Ways to Become Yakuza

1. IC Roleplay Development:
Build relationships, earn trust, and naturally develop into the role.

2. Application Background:
Include a Yakuza history in your character’s application, with the understanding that you must follow established Yakuza rules and lore.

For more details, refer to the Mugen Kuppuku Island Yakuza Guidebook.

🏮 VI. Village Game Masters, Storylines & Lore

Anyone who holds a managerial or leadership position in the Village is considered a Village Game Master. For storylines, plot ideas, or collaboration, please message them via PM, notecard, or Discord.

Village storylines are seasonal, plot-driven, or organically created by players. Approved player-generated lore is added to the island’s narrative and archived in:
